In this essential field leadership role, you will lead the installation, calibration, loop testing, commissioning, and maintenance of field instrumentation and process control systems across mineral processing plants and site infrastructure. Your expertise will directly ensure operational accuracy, process safety, and high-system reliability.
Field Supervision: Oversee day-to-day instrumentation activities, including installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of field instruments (flow, pressure, level, temperature transmitters, control valves, and analytical sensors).
Control System Support: Provide hands-on supervisory support for PLC, DCS, and SCADA interfaces, ensuring accurate signal transmission, loop checks, and seamless integration with process automation systems.
Safety & Quality Standards: Enforce strict electrical and instrumentation safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), hazardous area classifications (Ex/ATEX compliance), and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
Team & Subcontractor Leadership: Direct, mentor, and supervise site technicians, instrument fitters, and third-party contractors, ensuring high execution quality and adherence to project timelines.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Manage routine calibration schedules, preventive maintenance programs, and rapid incident response to resolve instrument failures and minimize process downtime.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all instrumentation works align with Indonesian ESDM mining safety regulations, international standards (ISA, IEC), and project specifications while maintaining accurate calibration logs and technical dossiers.
Experience: Minimum 7-10+ years of hands-on instrumentation experience within large-scale mining, mineral processing, oil & gas, or heavy process manufacturing projects.
Certifications (Desirable):
Valid POP (Pengawas Operasional Pratama) certification from ESDM.
Certified calibration or hazardous area (Ex / CompEx) qualifications.
Technical Mastery: Expertise in smart transmitters (HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus), control valves, safety instrumented systems (SIS), PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), and DCS architectures.
