Essential skills and knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or higher
- 15+ years’ experience of Electrical Engineering, preferably in a major LNG Project. Broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, onshore LNG facilities and utility systems design, construction, and operations.
- Requires demonstrated broad Electrical equipment and systems experience (HV/MV/LV electrical systems design, transformers, switchgear, power management systems, electrical system controls for reactive and active power sharing, power distribution control, large Motors, 40MW+) and familiarity with relevant manufacturing processes and relevant industry codes.
- High voltage and large-scale onshore power design requirements.
- Experience with contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from variety of cultural backgrounds.
- A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications, and technical applications such as ETAP software.
- Resilience to work with variable and high demanding workload.
- Strong technical and discipline management skills.
- Good organizational, planning and coordination skills.
- Good communication, influencing and interface skills.
