The Process Engineering Lead will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance on design of the Offshore Topside facilities.
The role ensures design of process facilities and equipment, and compliance with LNG and international standards to enhance asset reliability and safety.
What are you going to do
Lead the process engineering activities for Offshore Project, ensuring technical requirements (e.g. project specifications, data sheets, etc.) fully comply with project deliverables and standardized processes and provide support to Offshore Engineering
Manager ensuring all aspects are delivered to the highest standards.
Ensure that the Contractor's process engineering for Topsides, Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope) Engineering designs comply with the contract requirements, including project codes and standards.
Review and approve Contractor engineering deliverables for Offshore process facilities and equipment including Test Separator, Pig Traps, and Chemical Storage Tanks. Review and comment on other engineering discipline deliverables.
Plan and schedule the engineering deliverables to enable efficient project execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with LNG operational policies, standards of business conduct and project management system.
Participate in key design workshops and ensure that recommendations are correctly implemented and actions closed (3D model review, Lessons Learned, Value Engineering, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, engineering criticality assessment, etc.).
Support Offshore Engineering Manager in monitoring the contractor's progress on delivery of the required Process Engineering deliverables for Topsides, Pipeline and STP project scope.
Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts from respective disciplines involved in the delivery of the process systems and equipment and ensure endorsement of technical deviations to Company specifications when required.
Supervise and manage the Engineering interface for processing systems and equipment for Topsides, Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope).
Review Contractor engineering site queries and red line mark-ups of engineering deliverables to support As-built activities.
Essential skills and knowledge
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
8 years' experience in Engineering roles, including 4 years in the Oil & Gas Industry, and including 1 years' experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor / subcontractor / service / vendor personnel with a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.
Experience managing contractors and third-party vendors, in several phases of the projects, preferably done a complete project from FEED to Start-up.
Experience with risk assessment approach in decision making.
Experience in technology adoption and implementation of continuous improvement.
Experience working in large-scale integrated operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
SME level competency in at least one Engineering Discipline.
Experience with sour service gas and LNG facilities (for Onshore) and large Offshore Platforms / Pipelines (For Offshore).
Computer literacy involves the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.
Good knowledge of mechanical equipment, piping, pipeline, structural, instrument, telecom, piping and electrical.
