What are you going to do 

Role Overview:

As a Mining Construction Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction activities at various mine sites. You will ensure that all projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, adhering to the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in mining construction and a proven track record of success in supervising large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the mine site.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage and mentor a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, ensuring accurate documentation of construction activities.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role within the mining construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mining operations and construction practices.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the mining industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel and work at various mine sites across WA.
