Our client, a leading Tier 1 mining business based in Perth, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Document Controller to join their dynamic team on a 6-month contract with strong basis. What are you going to do 

As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing and controlling the flow of documents within the organisation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient retrieval.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Receive, record, and distribute all incoming and outgoing documents in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain an organized and secure document control system, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to collect, review, and update project-related documents.
  • Monitor document changes and revisions, maintaining version control and traceability.
  • Implement and enforce document management standards and best practices.
  • Generate reports on document status, distribution, and other relevant metrics.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits by ensuring the availability of required documents

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Previous experience as a Document Controller in the mining or related industry.
  • Proficient in document control software and systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document handling.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
