Introduction

We are partnering with a tier one global mining business to source an experienced Company Secretarial Assistant for an initial 6-month contract based in Perth.

This part-time opportunity will support the Company Secretariat team, providing administrative and coordination support. The role will suit someone with strong attention to detail, administration skills and exposure to corporate governance, company secretarial or legal support environments.

What are you going to do 

Reporting to the Company Secretary, this role will assist with maintaining accurate corporate records, supporting ASIC filing requirements and providing broader administrative support to the Company Secretariat team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange execution of documents and maintain accurate records.
  • Update and maintain entity records within the corporate database.
  • Assist with ASIC filing requirements.
  • Manage hardcopy corporate records for Perth-based entities, including organising historical records.
  • Process invoices and manage credit card reconciliation.
  • Assist with travel coordination, diary management and invoicing.
  • Provide leave coverage for the Assistant Company Secretary and Company Secretariat Coordinator as required.

Essential skills and knowledge 

The successful candidate will bring previous experience in an administrative, legal, governance, corporate services or company secretarial support role. You will be highly organised, detail focused and comfortable managing confidential information in a professional corporate environment.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience supporting company secretarial, legal or corporate governance teams.
  • Strong document management and record-keeping skills.
  • Exposure to ASIC filings or corporate entity administration.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, professional approach.
  • Experience using corporate databases or document management systems would be highly regarded.
