Brunel International is seeking experienced Production Drill Trainers with specialised expertise in Sandvik DL423i equipment for a 6-month contract role-based FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) to Papua New Guinea (PNG). What are you going to do
As a Production Drill Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training and support to drilling teams operating the Sandvik DL423i drill rigs. Your role will focus on enhancing operator competency, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards, and driving continuous improvement in production drilling activities. Working FIFO to PNG, you will collaborate closely with site management and maintenance teams to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
Essential skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Proven experience operating and training on Sandvik DL423i production drill rigs.
- Strong background in mining production drilling, preferably in underground mining environments.
- Ability to deliver practical and theoretical training sessions tailored to diverse learner needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with operators and management.
- Current relevant certifications and licences for mining equipment operation and training.
- Willingness to work FIFO to Papua New Guinea for the duration of the 6-month contract.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with site-specific health and safety policies.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work conditions and schedules.
