What are you going to do 

Our client, a leading organization in this sector, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee their warehouse operations in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. This permanent role offers the chance to play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations, safety, and resource management within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Supervision: Directly oversee the daily activities of the warehouse team to ensure finished goods from the production line are safely stored.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor all material movements and verify that the Oracle E-Business Suite is updated accurately for every transaction.
  • Staff Allocation: Assign specific duties to storekeepers and helpers at the start of each shift based on the production and dispatch volume.
  • Resource Management: Ensure that all warehouse equipment including forklifts and hand-jacks are in good working condition and report maintenance needs.
  • Shift Coordination: Manage the handover between shifts to ensure that all pending tasks and stock reconciliations are communicated clearly.
  • Quality Inspection: Verify that products received from the factory floor are properly packed and labeled before they are placed in the storage bins.
  • Safety Oversight: Monitor the warehouse environment for potential hazards and ensure all staff follow the established factory safety standards.
  • Operational role requiring a constant presence within the warehouse and storage yard areas.
  • Fast paced environment that involves coordinating with both the Production and Distribution divisions.
  • Staff shift schedule with a requirement to lead and monitor team performance throughout the shift.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior capacity.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven ability to lead a multicultural team and manage floor-level staff effectively.
  • Detailed understanding of warehouse management systems and industrial storage safety regulations.
  • Professional proficiency in English; ability to communicate in Hindi or Urdu is an advantage for managing the workforce.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to solve operational problems quickly under pressure.
