Introduction

  • The Training Supervisor is responsible for driving the effective planning, coordination, and execution of organizational learning initiatives.
  • The role ensures that annual training needs are accurately identified, high quality training solutions are sourced or internally developed and delivered on time, while also ensuring that learning outcomes are measured through robust evaluation and reporting.

What are you going to do 

  • Management Systems
    • Awareness of COMPANY Integrated Management Systems (Quality; Environment; Occupational Health & Safety; Responsible Care; & Energy Management Systems; and IFA Product Stewardship)
    • Comply with all the relevant policies and procedures of COMPANY Integrated Management Systems.
  • COMPANY Strategy
    • Awareness of COMPANY's Vision, Mission, Strategic Map & Core Values.
  • Annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA):
    • Collaborate with the business leaders and the Capability Development team to identify capability gaps and development priorities.
    • Consolidate and analyze training needs at organizational, departmental and individual levels.
    • Prepare the annual TNA and Calendar for approval.
  • Training Planning & Sourcing:
    • Identify and source suitable external training providers and required programs or courses.
    • Evaluate training proposals to ensure relevance, quality, and value for money.
    • Coordination with Supply Chain regarding vendor registration.
    • Conduct annual training vendor evaluation.
  • Training Coordination & Delivery:
    • Communicate training plans and requirements to stakeholders and participants.
    • Coordinate training schedules, venues, facilitators, and participants logistics.
    • Monitor training execution to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
    • Collaborate with Subject Matter Expert and training partners to develop necessary training modules that meet learning needs.
  • Training Evaluation & Effectiveness Measurement:
    • Ensure administration of pre- and post-training evaluations.
    • Collect and analyze participants feedback and learning assessments.
    • Prepare evaluation reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) & eLearning Administration:
    • Administer and maintain the Learning Management System.
    • Upload, manage, and track training programs, participants enrolments, and completion records.
    • Assign online learning resources to participants in line with business requirements.
    • Provide user support and resolve system-related issues.
  • Reporting & Data Management:
    • Maintain comprehensive training records and documentation.
    • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on training participation, completion, and effectiveness.
    • Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and workforce development planning.
    • Support audits and management reviews with accurate training data.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Human Resources or related fields) from a recognized University.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Certified Trainer will be advantageous.
  • At least 5 years' relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end training process and implementation of company-wide learning solutions.
  • Proven experience in utilizing Learning Management Systems and emerging learning technologies.
  • Solid understanding of the development and implementation of competency frameworks.
