Technical Writer (PowerPoint / Documentation Support)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to support documentation and communication needs across multiple teams. This role is ideal for someone with strong Microsoft Office skills who is comfortable working with both presentation materials and written correspondence in a technical environment.

This position may focus on one of two areas depending on team needs:

* Presentation Development: Organize, update, and enhance a large volume of existing PowerPoint presentations. Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to gather accurate information and transform it into clear, visually polished, and professional presentations.

* Document & Correspondence Support: Draft, edit, and respond to technical and administrative letters using Microsoft Word. Work closely with internal teams to gather input, ensure accuracy, and produce well-structured, clear written responses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, edit, and format PowerPoint presentations to improve clarity, consistency, and visual quality
  • Draft and revise written correspondence, reports, and letters in Microsoft Word
  • Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and other stakeholders to gather required information
  • Ensure all documents follow company standards, formatting, and quality expectations
  • Support general documentation needs, including organizing and maintaining files

Essential skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Word required)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and work with technical information at a basic level
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Additional Information:

  • This role offers the opportunity to grow within the company. Strong performers may be considered for extended assignments supporting the development of project management procedures, maintenance documentation, and safety procedures. Candidates with experience working on procedural documents or structured documentation will be especially valued.
  • This is an entry- to mid-level position; we are open to candidates with solid foundational skills who are eager to learn and grow in a technical environment.
