Introduction

As Team Manager you manage a team responsible for the software Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification. The team develops and delivers full system integration for one of the largest Mission System programs. A team consists typically of 25-35 (junior, medior and senior) integration & test engineers and works according to a well pre-defined integration and test strategy.

What are you going to do

As a Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting, servant-leading, and guiding our most valuable assets: our people. We believe that inspired individuals, acting from their own motives, feelings, and values, create the foundation for success. Strategies are developed both top-down and bottom-up, and you will be key in connecting, aligning, explaining, and inspiring the team. We expect our team managers to coach and facilitate teams while maximizing the unique talents of each individual.

In the last three years, the System Engineering department has grown significantly in size. The upcoming challenge will be to enhance the team's maturity in domain knowledge and further develop competencies, with a focus on improving operational performance. You will be responsible for the individual performance of your team members, ensuring the team can meet project objectives while delivering customer value, quality, on time, and within budget.

As part of the Management Team for F126 and the System Engineering Discipline, you will contribute to the overall department results, helping shape and execute our strategic plans. You will also play an important role in initiating process improvements, ensuring a culture of trust, transparency, and excellence. Together with the other team managers, you will drive our continuous growth and success.
