Introduction

In deze rol werk je aan de ruggengraat van de technische systemen binnen de afdeling Organisch van een grote speler in de duurzame verwerkingsindustrie. Jij zorgt ervoor dat complexe processen veilig, betrouwbaar en efficiënt draaien - en draagt daarmee direct bij aan een circulaire toekomst. Vanuit de locatie Wijster ben jij de verbindende schakel tussen operatie, ICT en externe leveranciers. Klinkt goed? Dit is jouw kans om verschil te maken.

What are you going to do 

Als System Engineer Procesautomatisering vertaal je de wensen van de gebruikersorganisatie naar technische oplossingen die goed aansluiten op de bestaande PA-infrastructuur. Je neemt de leiding in projecten, zorgt voor optimale cybersecurity én zorgt dat systemen toekomstbestendig blijven.

Je belangrijkste taken:

  • Je coördineert, beheert en optimaliseert de productieautomatiseringssystemen (OT) van de afdeling Organisch.

  • Je implementeert nieuwe automatiseringsprojecten en zorgt voor een soepele aansluiting op bestaande infrastructuur.

  • Je bewaakt de cybersecurity, inclusief firewalls, VLAN's en antivirusmaatregelen, en werkt hierin samen met interne ICT.

  • Je analyseert bestaande systemen en introduceert verbeteringen die efficiëntie en betrouwbaarheid verhogen.

  • Je zorgt voor een veilige en accurate koppeling tussen procesautomatisering en kantoorautomatisering.

Je werkt in een hecht team en schakelt actief met onder meer projectleiders, softwareleveranciers, programmeurs en interne productie-eenheden.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Je bent communicatief sterk, analytisch ingesteld en weet hoofd- van bijzaken te onderscheiden. Je vindt het leuk om systemen te doorgronden, te verbeteren en te beveiligen. In deze rol is het belangrijk dat je planmatig werkt, initiatief neemt en goed kunt schakelen met verschillende stakeholders.

Verder breng je mee:

  • Minimaal een mbo 4-diploma in industriële automatisering of vergelijkbaar, bij voorkeur hbo werk- en denkniveau.

  • Aantoonbare ervaring met procesautomatisering, waaronder PLC/DCS/SCADA (o.a. Siemens S7).

  • Kennis van netwerken, hardwarecomponenten (switches, firewalls, servers) en protocollen zoals Profibus/Profinet.

  • Ervaring met netwerktopologie, datacommunicatie en virtuele omgevingen.

  • Inzicht in procesbesturingsalgoritmen en industriestandaarden zoals OPC.
