Introduction

A Supply Chain Commercial Analyst is responsible for managing procurement and commercial activities, including strategic sourcing, tender execution, supplier negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance. This role works closely with internal stakeholders to optimize supply chain processes, achieve cost efficiencies, and support business objectives through data-driven procurement strategies.

What are you going to do 

  • Lead end-to-end tendering processes, bid evaluations, and supplier negotiations.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing and procurement solutions that support business objectives.
  • Manage supplier relationships, contract performance, and commercial deliverables.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to optimize procurement and supply chain strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams to ensure procurement activities align with operational and commercial goals.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, HSSE standards, and governance requirements.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Procurement, or a related discipline.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Contracting & Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain Commercial roles.
  • Experience within the oil & gas, energy, manufacturing, or other industrial sectors is highly preferred.
  • Strong expertise in procurement strategy, contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and commercial analysis.
  • Good understanding of HSSE, procurement governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a regional and virtual environment, with exposure to stakeholders based in SEA.
  • Strong communication, analytical, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
