Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to support offshore asset integrity through inspection, maintenance, repair, and risk assessment activities within a leading Oil & Gas environment. Working across ageing offshore assets, you will deliver safe and compliant engineering solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

What are you going to do 

  • Monitor, assess, and maintain the structural integrity of offshore platforms
  • Develop structural maintenance strategies, inspection schedules, and repair programs
  • Provide technical support during shutdowns, turnarounds, and unplanned maintenance events
  • Conduct structural risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders to deliver integrated engineering solutions

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Extensive experience within the offshore Oil & Gas industry
  • Strong knowledge of offshore structural codes including ISO, DNV, and API
  • Experience with inspection, maintenance, and repair of offshore steel structures
  • Familiarity with Structural Integrity Management Systems (SIMS)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
