What are you going to do 

  • Entwicklung moderner Simulationslösungen für komplexe militärische Anwendungen - von der Konzeption bis zum Einsatz
  • Modellierung und Abbildung anspruchsvoller Sensorik innerhalb von Simulationssystemen
  • Design und Umsetzung von Softwarekomponenten unter Anwendung gängiger Architektur- und Entwurfsmuster
  • Mitwirkung an Design- und Code-Reviews zur Sicherstellung von Qualität und Wartbarkeit
  • Implementierung sowie Durchführung von Unit- und Integrationstests
  • Entwicklung gemäß definierter Softwareprozesse, Standards und Entwicklungspläne
  • Unterstützung beim Aufbau und der Weiterentwicklung automatisierter Test- und Deploymentprozesse

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium oder Promotion im Studiengang im Bereich Informatik, Technische Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Automatisierungstechnik oder vergleichbarer Abschluss notwendig
  • Berufserfahrung als Softwareingenieur, idealerweise im Produktionsumfeld erforderlich
  • Kenntnisse in den Programmiersprachen C/C++ und Java sind ein Must have
  • Erfahrung mit Datenbanken wie SQL und Containervisualisierung wie Docker und Kubernetes oder CI/CD von Vorteil
  • Verhandlungssichere Deutsch - und Englischkenntnisse notwendig
