What are you going to do 

  • Entwicklung und Erweiterung von C++-Modulen innerhalb der Unreal Engine sowie angrenzender Simulationssoftware
  • Konzeption und Implementierung von Schnittstellenemulatoren und unterstützenden Softwaretools
  • Integration neuer Funktionen in bestehende Simulations- und Visualisierungslösungen
  • Durchführung von Performance-Analysen, Profiling und Optimierung bestehender Softwarekomponenten
  • Mitarbeit bei der Automatisierung von Build-Prozessen sowie Test- und Deployment-Pipelines
  • Unterstützung von Continuous Integration und Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) auf Windows- und Linux-Plattformen
  • Zusammenarbeit mit interdisziplinären Entwicklungs-, System- und Testteams
  • Dokumentation der entwickelten Software unter Berücksichtigung definierter Entwicklungsprozesse
  • Unterstützung bei der Containerisierung und Bereitstellung von Softwarekomponenten in virtualisierten Umgebungen
  • Mitwirkung bei der Weiterentwicklung moderner Simulations- und Trainingssysteme

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
  • Mindestens 2 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Entwicklung von Blueprints und der Unreal Engine
  • Erfahrung mit ffmpeg oder vergleichbaren Multimedia-Frameworks von Vorteil
  • Kenntnisse in C++ 17 oder höher
  • Verhandlungssichere Deutschkenntnisse (C1) und gute Englischkenntnisse
