What are you going to do 

  • Lead and manage the design and coordination of all building services (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire)
  • Collaborate closely with consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams
  • Drive design outcomes to meet project budgets, timelines, and quality expectations
  • Identify and mitigate design risks and buildability challenges early in the process
  • Review and manage design documentation to ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements
  • Support project delivery teams throughout construction with technical expertise
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Proven experience in a similar Services Design Manager or Building Services role within the construction industry
  • Experience on projects up to $100M
  • Strong technical knowledge across multiple building services disciplines
  • Experience working on large-scale commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate complex design processes
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant engineering or building services qualification (preferred)
