What are you going to do 

Based in Gladstone, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate surveying services across a variety of civil, infrastructure, mining and development projects. Working closely with project teams and clients, you'll be responsible for field operations, survey data management and maintaining high standards of quality throughout project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engineering and construction surveys across multiple projects.
  • Operate GPS, robotic total stations, digital levels and modern survey technology.
  • Process survey data and prepare accurate survey deliverables.
  • Complete set-out, as-constructed and topographical surveys.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients and site teams.
  • Maintain survey accuracy, documentation and compliance with project requirements.
  • Mentor junior survey staff where appropriate.

Essential skills and knowledge

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Degree or Diploma in Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience as a Surveyor or Senior Surveyor.
  • Experience delivering civil infrastructure, mining or land development projects.
  • Strong knowledge of modern surveying equipment and software.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence.
