The successful candidate will work closely with senior project management, engineering, construction, contractors, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders to build a strong quality culture, manage project quality risks, and ensure consistent delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

What are you going to do 

  • Lead the overall Project Quality Management function and QA/QC organization.
  • Develop and implement the Project Quality Management System (PQMS).
  • Establish quality objectives, KPIs, procedures, inspection plans, and assurance processes.
  • Lead and develop multidisciplinary QA/QC teams, inspectors, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with approved specifications, drawings, standards, codes, and contractual requirements.
  • Oversee ITPs, method statements, inspection activities, NCRs, corrective actions, audits, and quality documentation.
  • Monitor quality performance and identify project risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Drive timely resolution and closure of quality issues across the project.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, HSE, and Project Management teams.
  • Manage quality interfaces with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and third-party organizations.
  • Provide quality performance reports and recommendations to senior project leadership.
  • Promote a strong quality, accountability, and continuous improvement culture across the project.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience, with substantial experience in senior Quality / QAQC management positions.
  • Proven track record in large-scale mining, EPC, construction, infrastructure, or major industrial projects.
  • Strong experience managing multidisciplinary QA/QC teams and contractor quality performance.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, QA/QC processes, inspection, auditing, NCR and corrective action management.
  • Experience covering the full project lifecycle from engineering and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable international quality standards and project specifications.
  • Experience working in remote, large-scale mining or major project environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Previous experience in Indonesia or the wider Asia-Pacific mining industry will be highly advantageous.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CQI/IRCA, ASQ, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
