What are you going to do 

  • Ensure all planning requirements put in place by the contractor shall be in line with overall Project objectives and comply with company specifications
  • Maintaining schedules at the Project level, with critical path analysis and potential clashes and proposal of remedial actions/solutions.
  • Identify potential delays, analyse and issue proposed corrective actions as required.
  • Provide planning and scheduling input for cost forecasting, for reporting purposes together with analysis of reasons for any shortfall, potential bottlenecks, mitigating actions etc., as well as for periodic presentations to all parties involved
  • Ensuring availability at all times of an updated and accurate scheduling and progress measurement documentation
  • Participate in planning reviews and technical audits on scheduling & progress reporting as required
  • Active participation in the development of the Project integrated project schedule, supervision of scheduling and progress measurement activities during the Execution phase
  • Ensuring reporting at Project level (issue of Weekly reports, Monthly Status Report...).
  • Preparation, development of Planning Exhibit’s and coordination procedures for Call for Tender, and Project execution phase
  • Act as a focal point, expert in all scheduling and planning subjects and guide, coach, mentor Project teams and other planners where required.
  • Organise frequent planning review meetings and lead, consolidate the actions for Planning incorporation
  • Perform Critical path analyses (CPA) and propose mitigations as required.
  • Creating Ad-hoc schedules, scenario planning, suitable progress reports/analyses for supporting management requirements
  • Supporting in Risk and Opportunities Management process execution in Projects environment and work as a dedicated risk focal in an assigned Projects.
  • Participate in Integrated Operations Planning (IOP) and Corporate planning meetings and represent Major Projects for all Planning subjects
  • Periodical/ occasional coverage for Lead Planning Engineer role
  • Assisting, taking the initiative in developing internal, external Planning framework procedures and actively looking for areas for improvements
  • Active participation/ work as a focal in preparation and execution of Project schedule Risk analyses methodology and schedule risk analyses

  • Company priorities and objectives, Company standards and procedures and good industry practices
  • Treat all information obtained during the course of the work with confidentiality.
  • To review and comment on contractors' procedures and schedules, scheduling, and progress control methodology, and to monitor contractors' execution schedule, especially for shutdown works and offshore campaigns. Any potential delays to be identified promptly to the Package Leads and corrective measures proposed
