Introduction

What are you going to do 

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on instrumentation and control equipment.
  • Maintain production control systems, process instrumentation, and safety systems to maximize FPSO uptime and operational efficiency.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and digital control systems.
  • Execute calibration, loop checking, functional testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Assist operations personnel during plant start-up, shutdown, and production optimization activities.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are properly planned and executed using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Control & Automation Systems

  • Maintain Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD), Fire & Gas (F&G) Systems, and PLC-based control systems.
  • Perform testing and maintenance of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Troubleshoot communication networks including Modbus, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus, Ethernet/IP, and other industrial protocols.
  • Support software modifications, controller backups, and system upgrades under approved Management of Change (MOC) procedures.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Technical certification in instrumentation and control systems preferred.
  • Valid offshore certification (BOSIET/FOET, HUET, Medical Certificate, etc.) as required by project location.
