Introduction

What are you going to do 

  • Experience in preparing technical specifications/datasheets across wide range of instrumentation and valves, including Pressure, Temperature, Level & Flow, SDV’s, Control Valves, PSV’s etc.;
  • Experience in review / updating the engineering documents such as P&ID, C&E, loop drawings etc. and providing technical checking of all documentation;
  • Experience in package management of vendor supplied equipment, providing technical guidance, document review/approval and FAT attendance;
  • Coherent with all applicable industry standards;
  • Site experience is advantageous (design survey, commissioning support);
  • Able to present and write technical reports in fluent English;
  • Good presentation skills;
  • Should be pragmatic, self-motivated and demonstrate initiative;
  • Expected to take ownership of issues and follow them through to completion;
  • Willingness to interact directly with people;
  • Ability to work in an organized and structured fashion, and within time constraints;
  • Experience in preparing specifications for control system modifications, including control philosophy, IO lists etc. Previous experience with control system upgrade projects is advantageous.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Must be degree qualified from a recognized university in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering (with relevant Instrument experience);
  • Offshore certification (BOSIET / IMIST);
  • Instrument Engineer with minimum of 10+ years in project execution of brownfield instrumentation and control modifications for Oil & Gas industry (Concept / FEED / Detail Design).
