What are you going to do 

The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective electrical engineering solutions for offshore oil & gas projects. The role includes design, engineering, vendor coordination, technical reviews, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and company procedures.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Prepare and review electrical engineering deliverables, including single-line diagrams, load lists, equipment specifications, cable schedules, and layouts.
  • Perform electrical system studies such as load flow, short circuit, motor starting, and protection coordination.
  • Design LV/MV power distribution systems, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and hazardous area installations.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Support procurement, package engineering, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure engineering activities comply with IEC, IEEE, NEC, API, and project-specific standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
  • Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, constructability reviews, and technical risk assessments.
  • Ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables within project schedule and budget.
