What are you going to do 

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Uitvoeren van mechanische testen zoals trekproeven, compressie, buiging en adhesie (Instron, Zwick, texture analyzers)
  • Karakteriseren van polymeren via technieken zoals IR-spectroscopie en microscopie (SEM, optisch)
  • Uitvoeren van dimensionele analyses en fit/form evaluaties
  • Analyseren en interpreteren van experimentele data en vertalen naar bruikbare inzichten
  • Ontwikkelen en optimaliseren van testmethodes en parameters
  • Samenwerken met multidisciplinaire teams binnen R&D en productontwikkeling
  • Presenteren van resultaten en bijdragen aan technische discussies

Essential skills and knowledge

  • PhD (of gelijkwaardig) in materiaalwetenschappen, polymeerwetenschappen, biomedische engineering, farmaceutische wetenschappen of fysica
  • Sterke hands-on ervaring met mechanische testen van materialen
  • Kennis van polymeerkarakterisatie en structuur-eigenschapsrelaties
  • Ervaring met analytische technieken zoals IR, SEM of microscopie
  • Basisvaardigheden in data-analyse en interpretatie
  • Nauwkeurig, analytisch en probleemoplossend ingesteld
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en teamspirit
  • Vloeiend in Engels
