Introduction

Seeking a SAP Coordinator to join a rapidly growing energy subsidiary transitioning from development to production. This 12-month renewable contract is based in Pau with frequent travel to Namibia. You will play a pivotal role in supporting and evolving SAP operations across multiple business functions.

What are you going to do 

Responsibilities:

  • As SAP Coordinator, you will provide functional support and continuous improvement across SAP environments, including Finance, Contract & Procurement, and upcoming Maintenance processes.
  • You will act as the local SAP focal point, coordinating with headquarters to implement upgrades and manage user authorisations in compliance with governance standards.
  • Your responsibilities include delivering technical and functional support to key users, overseeing support tickets, conducting functional testing, and identifying training needs.
  • you will manage SAP user accounts and roles, ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX IT affiliate controls, and produce regular governance and performance reports.
  • Training a national resource to ensure long-term sustainability is also part of your mission.

Essential skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Confirmed experience with SAP ECC6
  • Advanced skills in SAP FICO and SAP Controlling
  • Advanced knowledge of RCMP (Governance, Risk, and Compliance)
  • Elementary knowledge of SAP PM, International Accounting, Management Accounting, and Purchase processes
  • Advanced employee training capabilities
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate with international teams and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to Namibia (at least once a month)
