Introduction

  • The SAP S/4 HANA Change Management Analyst will play a critical role in supporting change efforts for a complex greenfield SAP S/4 HANA implementation.
  • This role is responsible for Supporting change management activities, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and mitigating risks associated with organizational, process, and system changes.
  • The position requires strong leadership, communication skills, and a proven ability to deliver successful change initiatives in highly complex environments.
  • Support Change Lead:
    • Assist the Change Lead in planning and conducting workshops, including change impact assessments and fit-gap analysis.
  • Change Impact Assessment:
    • Evaluate the impact of changes on business processes and systems, identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Fit-Gap Workshops:
    • Participate in fit-gap workshops to analyze current processes and identify gaps in the new system.
  • Job Role Design:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and document new job roles and responsibilities aligned with the implementation.
  • Training:
    • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure end-users are well-prepared for the transition.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Responsible for ensuring that key stakeholders are fully engaged, and their needs are being addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Change Governance:
    • Responsible for ensuring alignment with the overall governance framework of the project, collaborating closely with the PMO and Steering Committee.
  • Change Control:
    • Ensures all changes to the project scope, timelines, or budget related to change management are controlled and approved according to established governance procedures.

What are you going to do 

  • Change Management Execution:
    • Support in development and delivery of change management plans, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
    • Support the delivery of training programs to ensure user readiness for SAP S/4 HANA go-live.
    • Execute communication plans to ensure all impacted employees and stakeholders are informed and prepared for the changes.
    • Assist the Change Lead in planning, organizing, and conducting workshops, including change impact assessments and fit-gap analysis sessions.
    • Supervise and guide change management activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and methodologies. Monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the Manager, PMO, and business leads to ensure alignment between project delivery and change management initiatives.
    • Work closely with functional teams to ensure the change impacts are understood and integrated into business operations.
    • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the impact of implementation on existing business processes and systems. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Participate in fit-gap workshops to analyze current business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to align with functionalities.
  • Communication and Training Management:
    • Develop comprehensive training programs and materials to ensure end-users are well-prepared for the transition. Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support.
    • Utilize various change management techniques, such as stakeholder analysis, communication planning, and resistance management, to facilitate a smooth transition.
    • Develop change management support materials, including user guides, FAQs, and quick reference guides, to assist end-users during the transition.
    • Create and distribute communication materials to inform and engage the entire end user community at about the changes and their impact. Ensure clear and consistent messaging throughout the organization.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed documentation of change management activities, including communications, risk logs, and change impact analysis.
    • Report progress, risks, and issues related to change management efforts to senior leadership and the Steering Committee.
  • Post Go-live Support:
    • Support the business in the stabilization period post go-live, ensuring users are adapting to the new processes and tools.
    • Collect feedback and lessons learned for continuous improvement of change management methodologies.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • 8+ years of experience in change management within complex IT or ERP implementations, ideally in SAP environments.
  • 5+ years of experience leading change management in SAP S/4HANA projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in conducting workshops, change impact assessments, fit-gap analysis, job role design, and training development.
  • Project Management qualifications such as Prince 2, PMP or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient with MS office and other change management tools
  • Fluent English both spoken and written.
  • Oil & Gas Industry SAP Global Implementation experience will be an advantage
