Introduction

The job holder is accountable for the following activities during project execution by Engineering & Construction Division:

  • The control and following up, monitoring and supervising the Quality Control of electrical and instrumentation ATEX documentation review and approval and preparation of ATEX dossiers which item procured by EPCIC CONTRACTOR or COMPANY.
  • The Service holder ensure that all HSE, Quality and Technical contractual requirements are duly applied by CONTRACTORS and all SUBCONTRACTORS offshore.
  • The Service holder participates to routine and/or random inspections and audits, to daily / regular construction meeting with CONTRACTOR and promotes safety and quality awareness at all levels through exemplary and pro-active.
  • The Service holder is also accountable for demonstrating, individually, and exemplary behavior with regard to HSE, ethics and ‘’code of conduct’’.
  • The Service holder may perform his missions and duties during installation to Achievement of commissioning, the job holder may also have to be involved in his activities during OFFSHORE inspection along with third party inspection agency to obtain the facility certification.
  • To ensure the performance of the vendors/suppliers are achieving the Project Quality requirements during procurements and supply chain management during project tenure.
  • Provides the necessary back-up to Project quality engineers of COMPANY regarding contractual issues relating to Quality during execution phase and any ad-hoc activities.

What are you going to do 

  • To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other COMPANY HSE procedures in all activities,
  • To carry out work in compliance with COMPANY values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed COMPANY priorities and objectives, COMPANY standards and procedures and good industry practices,
  • Contribute to promoting safety culture by reporting safety observations.
  • Implement Quality procedures for effective supplier quality management and promote implementation of NOC policies, regulations, procedures, standards and specifications as relevant.
  • Coordinate the Third-party inspection agency for dedicated scope of work assigned, act as COMPANY Quality focal point for ATEX certification.
  • Provide feedback on Quality matters within E&C Quality Department as might be required and promote anomalies reporting.
  • Centralizes and Maintain all the Quality documentation produced on vendors/supplier and ensure follow up and traceability being maintained.
  • Conduct Site Quality Surveillance / Monitoring and Participate to audits as required on ATEX related.
  • Participates on request to QA/QC meetings with all relevant parties.
  • Ensures all construction/fabrication documents are verified and compliant to technical requirements.
  • Ensure the items are following IEC standards.
  • Maintain the master ATEX register and update the regular the inspection status of each components feedback collecting from offshore.
  • Prepares a Return on experience (ROX) for on ATEX area discipline to quality and project.
  • Carry out any other relevant duties or tasks that may be assigned by reporting line.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Qualification: Engineering bachelor’s degree or experienced technician with HND/HNC and minimum of 15 years experiences in the oil and gas industry,
  • Professional Experience (number of years): Around 10 years As a minimum, job holders must have extensive hands-on technical, project co-ordination and supervisory experience gained in an Oil & Gas Construction environment (Construction, Engineering, etc,
  • Familiar with Completion Tools / OPERCOM Methodology
  • Valid ATEX/COMPEX OR IECEx Certificate with Vendor Inspection Management/Coordination at least 5 years of experience to collect the data.
  • Experience required on Vendor packages and practical knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as IEC standards.
  • A good knowledge of COMPANY Standards and International codes/standards related to design, manufacturing, testing and inspection.
  • Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets, and e-mail communications.
  • Language: Fluent English,
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
