  • The Production Manager is accountable for production planning, shop-floor execution, manpower and machine utilization, productivity, manufacturing quality, coordination with supporting departments and strict achievement of committed delivery dates.
  • Lead all production, machining, fabrication, assembly and testing activities and ensure disciplined shop-floor execution.
  • Prepare, implement and continuously update the master production schedule based on confirmed customer purchase orders and contractual delivery dates.
  • Translate each order into detailed manufacturing routes, work priorities, manpower requirements, machine loading and milestone dates.
  • Monitor every order from material availability through machining, fabrication, assembly, inspection, testing, documentation and final release.
  • Ensure manufacturing is performed strictly to approved drawings, BOMs, route cards, procedures, work instructions, ITPs and applicable API/customer requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with API Spec Q1 and applicable API 6D, 6A, 5CT, 7-1, 16A and 16C production requirements within the Company's licensed scope.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi Aramco engineering, inspection, material and manufacturing requirements and approved MSSD procedures.
  • Coordinate daily with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Planning, Estimation/Sales and Project teams to resolve technical, material, quality or schedule constraints.
  • Establish realistic production plans and immediately identify bottlenecks involving materials, CNC capacity, tooling, manpower, engineering release, inspection or testing.
  • Develop and implement recovery plans before any identified issue affects the committed customer delivery date.
  • Optimize CNC and conventional machine utilization, setup time, routing, manpower allocation and shift arrangements to improve throughput and productivity.
  • Ensure raw materials and components are correctly identified, and traceability is maintained throughout production in coordination with Quality.
  • Control work-in-progress, production priorities, rework, repair, scrap and manufacturing NCRs and ensure timely corrective action.
  • Coordinate inspection and testing activities with QA/QC, including hold points, witness points, NDE/NDT, dimensional inspection, hydrostatic/gas testing and functional testing.
  • Ensure special processes such as welding, heat treatment, NDE/NDT and coating are performed only through approved procedures and qualified personnel/sources.
  • Maintain accurate and auditable manufacturing records and ensure production documentation is completed concurrently with the work, not after completion.
  • Support API, Saudi Aramco, MSSD, customer and third-party audits and demonstrate effective control of manufacturing processes, traceability, equipment and personnel competency.
  • Ensure machinery, fixtures, tooling and production equipment are maintained in suitable condition and coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Monitor production costs, overtime, consumable usage, scrap, rework and efficiency and implement measurable improvement actions.
  • Lead daily/weekly production meetings and provide management with clear order-by-order status, risks, recovery actions and delivery forecasts.
