As a Procured Parts Engineer, you translate complex requirements into supplier solutions, select the right partners, and drive product performance, quality, cost, and delivery. What are you going to do 

As a Procured Parts Engineer, you are technically responsible for complex procured parts and subsystems that are integrated into advanced radar systems. These components are typically custom-developed, manufactured, and tested by suppliers before becoming part of the final system.

What will you do?

  • Define technical requirements and specifications for complex supplier-developed parts and subsystems together with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers capable of developing and manufacturing solutions that meet technical, quality, and performance requirements.
  • Guide suppliers throughout the development, testing, qualification, and delivery process while acting as their primary technical point of contact.
  • Drive continuous improvements in quality, performance, cost efficiency, lead times, and supplier collaboration.

Essential skills and knowledge

You are a technically driven professional who enjoys working at the intersection of engineering, supplier management, and stakeholder coordination. You are able to communicate effectively with both technical and commercial stakeholders, take ownership of complex challenges, and confidently influence decisions. You thrive in an international and multidisciplinary environment and are motivated by delivering high-quality results.

Additionally, you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar engineering, supplier management, procurement engineering, systems engineering, or product development role.
  • Experience working with complex technical systems, components, or subsystems.
  • Fluency in English; German and/or French is considered an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to visit suppliers.
  • Eligibility to obtain Dutch security clearance.
