What are you going to do 

  • We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented colleague who will help ensure manufacturing process stability, drive continuous quality improvement, and eliminate process inefficiencies through systematic problem-solving.

  • Identify, investigate, and eliminate internal and customer quality issues.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce scrap, defects, and production losses.
  • Lead and facilitate problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report quality KPIs including scrap rate, PPM, customer complaints, and non-conformities.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Support internal, customer, and certification audits.
  • Create, maintain, and update quality documentation including control plans, work instructions, and quality procedures.
  • Deliver quality-related training and promote quality standards across the organization.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization activities.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Technical secondary school or university degree.
  • Previous experience in a Quality, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering role within a production environment.
  • Automotive experience is an advantage.
  • Proven experience with problem-solving methodologies and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Good knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans, and APQP.
  • Understanding of quality management systems and standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
  • Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to drive tasks to completion and work independently.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to cooperate effectively across departments.
  • Good command of English or German is an advantage.
