What are you going to do

We are looking for an experienced PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer, ideally with a background in high-volume manufacturing environments. Experience within the automotive industry would be a strong advantage.
Support maintenance technicians and electrical engineers in ensuring the reliability and availability of production equipment.
Act as the main technical expert for troubleshooting complex automation and control system issues.
Manage PLC software backups and support the standardization of automation and electrical solutions across production lines.
Modify and optimize control system functions in line with improvement and action plans.
Work closely with Process Engineers to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production line operation.
Analyze root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.

Essential skills and knowledge

Proven experience with PLC programming, including:
- Siemens S7 family
- TIA Portal
- STEP 7
- WinCC Flexible
- Graph Programming
Experience with Siemens Simatic control systems.
Knowledge of industrial communication and automation systems.
Experience with machine vision systems such as Cognex or Keyence is an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience in manufacturing, preferably automotive production environments.
English language skills at B1 level or higher.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
