Introduction

  • Manage a group of Field Coordinators and the contractors executing all disciplines of work within an entire plant/unit associated with the TA.
  • Expectation is that approximately 70% of each shift will be spent in the field performing the following key duties:
    • Monitor work to ensure compliance with HS&E and quality standards.
    • Remove barriers and facilitate the flow of work.
    • Provide another layer of assurance that the Field Coordinators are executing their duties as outlined below.
    • Serve as the resource for Field Coordinators to escalate challenges to for assistance with resolution when required.
    • Escalate any challenges that you are unable to resolve on your own to the Block Lead for assistance.
    • Keep the Block Lead informed of any key items that are not going as planned.
    • Compile a report outlining the progress during your shift and communicate focus items for the following shift.

What are you going to do 

  • Ensure work in your area is planned and executed safely. Involve yourself in the contractor plans.
  • Attend one of the contractors tool box safety meetings at the beginning of each shift.
  • Understand Shell Life Saving Rules and coordinate activities accordingly – focus on working at heights, valid work permits, not working under suspended loads and line of fire.
  • Establish relationship and lines of communication with Safety Rep and Operators in your area.
  • Ensure that all waste (hazardous and non-hazardous) is properly handled and disposed of.
  • Maintain expectation of good housekeeping throughout.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Ability to speak, understand & write in English and Hindi.
  • Ability to deliver Training to a large mass of people in English / Hindi.
  • Computer proficiency on MS Office.
  • Minimum work experience – 10 years
  • Ability to work with Multinational Cultural people.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
