We’re hiring Piping Material Engineer for one of our Leading MNC in Oil & Gas to join their growing team. This position is based out in Chennai.

What are you going to do 

Position: Piping Material Engineer;

YOE: 5 to 15 Years;

Contract: Permanent Role;

Location: Chennai.

Essential skills and knowledge

Education: BE / Btech Mechanical Engineering;

Experience: 5 to 15 Years;

Preparation of Piping Material Specification (PMS);

Preparation of Valve Material Specification(VMS) including of Valve Data Sheet & SP Item Data Sheet;

Knowledge of ASTM materials specifications for pipes, forgings, castings, wrought fittings, plates and bolting materials;

Knowledge of Pipe wall thickness calculation;

Knowledge of Vacuum thickness calculations;

Good knowledge of Code for Pressure Piping, ASME, ASTM, API standards;

Preparation of MTO.
