On behalf of our client, Woodside Energy, Brunel is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a high-performing team based in the Perth CBD. This casual contract opportunity will see you contribute to the timely and accurate delivery of Payroll Services supporting a global workforce.

What are you going to do 

Reporting into the Payroll Team, responsibilities include:

  • Process day-to-day payroll activities and maintain payroll data accuracy
  • Deliver payroll services in line with monthly payroll schedules
  • Process terminations and support payroll reconciliations
  • Reconcile superannuation and Single Touch Payroll (STP) activities
  • Respond to payroll queries and escalate issues as required
  • Ensure payroll delivery aligns with legislative and company requirements

Essential skills and knowledge

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience managing end-to-end payroll processes
  • SAP or EC/ECP experience (highly desirable)
  • Strong ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities

Desirable experience:

  • Payroll reconciliations
  • Complex payroll calculations, including overpayments and underpayments
  • Superannuation calculations
