Introduction

  • The job holder is accountable for the following activities during offshore project execution:
    • Promoting HSE policies & practices, culture and objectives for the project as the CPY HSE Reference
    • Verifying implementation and adhesion of Contractor with the requirements of the CONTRACT Exhibit L
    • HSE supervision of the activities at Sites
    • Being “visible at Site” and “walking the talk” with HSE as a priority
    • Intervene where HSE deficiencies are identified and report
    • Attend Project HSE meetings, training, and inspection as when invited to
    • Work closely with the rest of the project team on the assig
  • Major Projects involve the development of new offshore platforms and installation of subsea pipelines/cables offshore. Projects will require complex interfaces and collaboration with other COMPANY entities and CONTRACTORS of various cultural backgrounds and HSE Cultures

What are you going to do 

  • DAILY:
    • Attend Supervisors HSE Briefing in the morning
    • Attend HSE Supervisors Briefing in the morning
    • Conduct a site patrol to support HSE Supervisors
    • Collect observations raised by CPY Personnel prior to evening daily meeting with CTR
    • Attend daily coordination meeting with FOPS if any
    • Provide CPY HSE daily Report to incorporate into CSR DPR
  • WEEKLY:
    • Lead Site HSE Weekly Meeting with CTR and ensure MOM is submitted immediately after the meeting
    • Lead Weekly HSE Tour with CTR, ensure required CPY personnel attendance (inclusive of FOPS personnel if available) and follow-up report issuance
    • Monitor HSE Calendar implementation prior to weekly HSE Meeting (both from CPY & CTR Personnel)
    • Arrange CPY participation during weekly JUB/Vessel HSE Inspection Controlled
    • Weekly HSE Mass Meeting: Review presentation slide before, approve personnel proposed for rewarding, attend and present CPY HSE Points
    • Update HSE Reporting Folder in SIMOPS Follow-up Dossier and verify that his own HSE Folder for his location is up-to-date and organized
    • Attend offshore MP Internal Weekly HSE Meeting
    • Submit his weekly HSE report before Sunday morning
    • Arrange CPY Spot check of HSE Inductions conducted by CTR
    • Control HSE Incentive Scheme deployment on his site
    • Verify adequacy of HSE Communication posted on site
    • Review HSE Training Status of CPY Personnel on-board
    • Verify SYNERGI Actions status for his location and update accordingly
    • Review Key HSE CTR Registers (i.e ATR / Observation Card / etc…) in a dedicated meeting
    • Verify required emergency drills have been conducted and report submitted
    • Participate randomly in some TBT to verify how it is being conducted
    • Update CPY PPE & HSE Equipment Inventory & raising request for replenishing as of when required
  • MONTHLY:
    • Monthly HSE Committee Meeting: review slides before the meeting, lead it with CTR and follow-up MOM issuance
    • Request CTR to provide monthly HSE KPI for his location
    • Challenge HSE Calendar Program submitted by CTR and approve it
    • Control CTR PPE Storage to ensure they control their stock correctly and avoid last minute surprise (including PARAT Mask)
    • Update register for HSE Awards distributed by CPY

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Large experience on similar activities at equivalent position (minimum number of verifiable 15 years)
  • Familiar with offshore construction and commissioning activities
  • Fluent in English
  • Offshore SIMOPS experience
  • HSE Trainings: OPITO H2S / T-BOSIET / AGT / NEBOSH or equivalent
