Introduction

This position sits within the fleet and maintenance team supporting a large mobile plant operation on site. You'll work closely with maintenance planners, workshop teams and site leadership to monitor fleet performance, improve maintenance systems and drive plant reliability.

What are you going to do 

  • Monitor fleet performance including uptime, maintenance plans and breakdown analysis
  • Develop and improve maintenance systems, reporting and fleet KPIs
  • Work with maintenance planners and managers to improve reliability and plant availability
  • Review oil samples and assist with condition monitoring and investigations
  • Lead safety and quality processes including Take 5s and maintenance investigations
  • Analyse equipment performance and identify reliability improvements
  • Assist with lifecycle planning, plant reporting and maintenance system development
  • Support continuous improvement of fleet systems and maintenance processes

Essential skills and knowledge

  • 3+ years experience working with mobile plant or mining equipment
  • Mechanical Engineering background within mining, heavy plant or fleet environments
  • Experience analysing equipment performance, downtime and reliability reporting
  • Exposure to fleet maintenance systems, asset management or reliability engineering
  • Experience working with large mining fleets and maintenance teams
  • Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
  • Must be an Australian / NZ Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident

What we offer 

  • $135,000 - $155,000 base salary + super (based on experience)
  • 20% project uplift (inclusive of super)
  • Accommodation and travel provided
  • Meal allowance paid per night on roster
  • 8/6 roster - Day shift (6:00am - 6:00pm)
  • FIFO option or DIDO within 4 hours of Orange NSW
  • Travel in Wednesday morning (10am onsite start) / travel out Wednesday afternoon
  • Shared accommodation provided (usually with one other person)
  • $60 per night meal allowance ($10,500 per year untaxed)
