Introduction

This is a key leadership position responsible for driving manufacturing engineering performance, production capability, process improvement, new product introduction, and engineering excellence within a high-technology manufacturing environment.

What are you going to do 

  • Lead and manage the Manufacturing Engineering function, providing technical direction and support to the production organization.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing engineering strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing readiness activities from development through production release.
  • Drive process optimization, automation, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing systems improvements.
  • Identify manufacturing constraints and lead cross-functional initiatives to resolve production, quality, and process issues.
  • Establish and monitor engineering and manufacturing KPIs, including yield, throughput, efficiency, downtime, and continuous improvement metrics.
  • Work closely with Design Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Production teams to ensure products are manufacturable, scalable, and production-ready.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for complex manufacturing and product issues.
  • Support the development and implementation of work instructions, manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and test solutions.
  • Manage engineering projects, resources, priorities, and budgets to deliver business objectives.
  • Develop and mentor Manufacturing Engineers and technical team members.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with relevant quality, safety, engineering, and operational standards.
  • Support the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new manufacturing technologies and equipment.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience, including experience in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Strong background in high-volume, high-mix, or technology-driven manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience in NPI, process development, production readiness, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, equipment, and production systems.
  • Experience leading cross-functional engineering and production teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience applying structured root-cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working with quality, yield, productivity, and manufacturing KPIs.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Experience in electronics, power electronics, electrical equipment, or related technology manufacturing is highly advantageous.
  • International or multinational manufacturing experience is preferred.
