Introduction

Brunel International is looking for a Maintenance Engineer/Reliability Engineer with a strong background in rotary strength to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, with a preference for the Petrochemical industry.

What are you going to do 

The Maintenance Engineer/Reliability Engineer will be responsible for advanced trouble shooting, identifying and resolving chronic issues. They will also be expected to perform Reliability Engineering analysis such as RCA, FMEA, RCM, MTBF/M, WEIBULL, PLA, RCI, Bad Actor etc. Additionally they will need to develop equipment reliability strategies with failure mode, failure definition, spare part identification and CBM/PM requirements. Experience in overhaul of the rotating equipment is also required as well as knowledge of SAP and other Asset Performance tools like RCM and FMEA. Experience in Meridium is an added advantage. The Maintenance Engineer/Reliability Engineer must also have the ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis and spare parts identification and optimization as well as provide hands-on training to young engineers. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential for this role.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • 10-15 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preference for Petrochemical industry);
  • Mechanical Engineering degree from a reputable institution;
  • Advanced trouble shooting skills;
  • Ability to perform Reliability Engineering analysis such as RCA, FMEA etc;
  • Knowledge of SAP and other Asset Performance tools like RCM and FMEA;
  • Experience in Meridium is an added advantage;
  • Ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis;
  • Spare parts identification & optimization;
  • Provide hands-on training to young engineers;
  • Strong oral & written communication skills.
