Introduction

Brunel International is looking for an experienced LMWD Engineer to join our team. This position will be on a 60 days on / 30 days off rotation and is expected to last for 2 years. The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of offshore experience. The competency requirement is TC-Sonic-RSS.

What are you going to do 

The LMWD Engineer will be responsible for providing engineering support in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of downhole operations in order to maximize efficiency and safety. This position requires a high level of technical knowledge and experience in the areas of measurement while drilling (MWD) technology, directional drilling, well logging, and related operations. The MWD Engineer will be responsible for monitoring all downhole operations and ensuring that they are conducted in accordance with company standards.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field;
  • Minimum 5 years offshore experience;
  • Competency requirement is TC-Sonic-RSS;
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly;
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions;
  • Ability to work long hours when necessary;
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and safety protocols.
