What are you going to do 

Als Linux System Administrator ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheer en de verdere ontwikkeling van enterprise Linux-platformen en ondersteunende infrastructuur.

Je takenpakket bestaat uit:

  • Dagelijks beheer en onderhoud van Linux-systemen in productie
  • Opvolgen van back-ups, monitoring en performance
  • Oplossen van incidenten en technische problemen
  • Ontwerpen en implementeren van nieuwe systemen en infrastructuurwijzigingen
  • Migreren en uitfaseren van legacy systemen
  • Ondersteunen bij datacenter activiteiten en hardware lifecycle management
  • Documenteren van wijzigingen, procedures en infrastructuurcomponenten
  • Samenwerken met collega's binnen Linux, networking en storage teams

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Minstens 3 jaar ervaring als Linux System Administrator in een enterprise omgeving
  • Sterke kennis van Linux serverbeheer (bij voorkeur SUSE Linux Enterprise Server)
  • Ervaring met infrastructuurbeheer en -onderhoud
  • Je spreekt perfect Nederlands

Ervaring met één of meerdere van volgende technologieën is een plus:

  • Linux scripting (Bash, Python, Perl)
  • VMware of andere virtualisatieplatformen
  • Ansible
  • Monitoring tools zoals Elastic / Nagios
  • Kubernetes (enterprise / on-prem)
  • Datacenter operations & hardware deployment
  • ITIL / support / vendor management
  • Enterprise networking (Cisco ACI, Palo Alto, F5)
  • Enterprise storage (NetApp, HPE Alletra, HPE StoreOnce)
