Introduction

  • Responsibility to execute Site Procurement for EPC-3 and EPC-4 Contractor covering all field purchasing and expediting matters.
  • Understands the Site key project drivers, defines roles and responsibilities, develops communication protocols, identifies, develops and implements project site procurement procedures.
  • Coordinates and facilitates Site procurement sessions.
  • The prime objective of Site Procurement is to ensuring timely delivery of all Site purchasing by EPC Contractor/Subcontractor to improve project construction performance by anticipating issues, reducing risks, and avoiding negative impacts. Embedded robust site procurement practices to contribute to the consistent delivery of successful projects.

What are you going to do 

  • Support field Material Approval Request (MAR) completion under procurement guidelines and defined procedures.
  • Monitoring field purchasing activities of EPC Contractor Sub-contractors.
  • Ensure correctness of EPC Contractor Sub-contractors Purchasing Status Reports (PSR).
  • Ensure timely delivery schedules and transportation timelines
  • Ensure timely issue of Site procurement expediting reports by EPC Contractor.
  • Report any areas of concern to PMT and the relevant disciplines if applicable.
  • Work with Contractor to ensure early identification of potential issues.
  • Monitoring and provision of support for in country delivery, customs clearance and logistics matters.
  • Communicate with EPC Contractor on correctness and completeness of field Expediting Status Report (ESR).
  • Participate in weekly / monthly progress meetings
  • Provide Ad-Hoc support to Home Office activities

Essential skills and knowledge

  • BSc / BA (or equivalent higher education) or alternatively relevant experience in oil and gas industry.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of project procurement experience.
  • Experience working in multicultural environments desirable
  • Experience in the Supply Chain and Materials Management
  • Exposure to EPC projects (engineering home office and field construction sites) beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills. Experience of contract interpretation and administration beneficial.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and persuasion

  • Fluency in English.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP, Excel).
