Introduction

  • Provide Security direction, guidance and leadership to Onshore PMT and (On Plot) CONTRACTOR and SUBCONTRACTOR(s) (ON PLOT) across the Package within the assigned area.
  • Perform oversight of Onshore (On Plot) CONTRACTOR and SUBCONTACTOR(s) Security performance management process to ensure Project and LNG performance expectations are met.
  • Support PMT and CONTRACTOR Security teams of the (On Plot) Package and Shared Resources in the implementation and verification of the Onshore Security related Plans and Procedures through systematic performance measuring.

What are you going to do 

  • Supports the Onshore package (On Plot) in all SHES related disciplines and scope of work but with specific focus on Security performance management and monitoring, contractual performance compliance, and continual improvement of the security management system and its associated plans and procedures.
  • Supports the PMT Security & Emergency Response Head (Shared Resources) as the key focal point for the package (on Plots) project Security performance management.
  • Provides oversight of (on Plot) CONTRACTORS and Subcontractors Security performance and drives performance excellence in all security related aspects.
  • Support Security audits relevant to the project SHES management system, and participates in PMT and CONTRACTOR (on Plot) Security assurance activities as required.
  • Support the implementation of the Onshore Security Management System, its Plans, Procedures and Programs, performs evaluations on the effectiveness of relevant activities.
  • Provide strategic advice and support to the PMT Security & Emergency Response Head, and ensures effective implementation of Security programs consistent with established SHES strategy, goals and objectives.
  • Assist the PMT Security & Emergency Response Head with development, implementation and stewardship of a comprehensive and integrated Onshore Security Program.
  • Coordinate Third Party support services as required and oversees the delivery of such service in accordance with established service agreements.
  • Act as advisor when requested in the development of project Security policies and procedures related to performance enhancement.
  • Keep up-to-date with international developments in performance management and measuring methodologies for potential continual improvements of Security programs.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Security and/or Emergency Response related diploma; or 10 years’ experience in lieu of degree.
  • FEMA Professional Development training suite or equivalent.
  • TapRoot® Advanced Root Cause Analysis training or equivalent.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years industry relevant Security experience.
  • International project security experience with Tier-1 Contractors or Client, involved in the construction of onshore production facilities (i.e. greenfield and brownfield work).
  • Sound knowledge of the project execution process in large-scale project environments (expenditure >US$ 1 Bn).
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Good verbal and written English skills; confident and clear presentation development and delivery.
  • Able to cope with excessive workload and work under extreme pressure, keeping the team calm and focused.
  • Be inventive to bring new ideas, methods and procedures to meet Project objectives.
  • Strong teamwork, facilitation, with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work with diverse cultures to obtain a world-class SHES performance.
