    • HSE principles and lifesaving rules.
    • Ensuring that all activities comply with standardized processes and are delivered to the highest possible standards.
    • Support Projects by assuring compliance to the Lesson learned process and procedure.
  • Plan, coordinate, expedite and monitor the Lesson Learned activities of Company and Contractors to ensure that Company’s objectives are implemented and met with regards to cost, schedule and quality.
  • The position provides guidance, coordination, and subject matter expertise to project functions to ensure the implementation of the Lessons Learned process for contracts within the PMT.
  • Attend formal risk workshops, Assurance Reviews, IPR’s, PSSR’s, Start Up reviews and Business Risk Reviews.
  • The Lesson Learned position requires the flexibility and ability to support the project team to meet Project Objectives. The context and challenges of the position are summarized as follows:
    • Understands the key project drivers, defines roles and responsibilities, develops communication protocols, identifies and contributes to the continuous improvement of Lessons Learned procedures and practices, taking into account “international best practice”, to improve project processes.
    • To communicate and influence various organization in LNG and/or with contractors in a multi-cultural environment.
    • To lead and deliver the Lesson Learned for each phase of Project and ensure compliance to procedure.
    • The primary objective of Lessons Learned is to gather knowledge from all parts and phases of the project, Lessons Learned Database (LLDB) and incorporating any applicable learnings to reduce risk and uncertainty, optimize schedule and costs and therefore improve likelihood of achieving project and shareholders objectives.

What are you going to do 

  • Responsible for Implementing the Company Lessons Learned Process and ensuring a robust Lessons Learned processes are in place.
  • Review Lessons Learned reports and disseminate relevant learnings to the project team.
  • Organize and lead Lessons Learned meetings and maintain good communication with Contractors to highlight to management potential concerns and delays.
  • Develop comprehensive reports summarizing lessons learned, best practices, and recommendations for future projects.
  • Maintain a centralized database for lessons learned, ensuring easy access and usability for team members.
  • Collaborate with project Managers and teams to integrate lessons learned into project planning and execution processes.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to promote a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational standards and compliance requirements in documenting lessons learned.
  • Regularly report on lessons learned initiatives and outcomes to Sr. Management, highlighting successes and areas for development.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Business or similar
  • Recommended 10+ years of experience with at least 5 years broad experience in Leading Lessons learned processes of major projects.
  • Experience with EPC Contractors, Sub-Contractors and Vendors involved in the oil and gas industry.
  • Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from variety of cultural backgrounds.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact Operations and PMTs confidently.
  • Managed multi discipline and multi-cultural teams.
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
  • Sound understanding of Project Lessons Learned principles and philosophies.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Strong planning, organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Strong relationship management, negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Good computer literacy skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
