What are you going to do 

  • Sie arbeiten eigenständig sowie im Team entlang des gesamten Prozesses - von der Konstruktion des Expressionsvektors bis zur Übergabe des gereinigten, markierten und charakterisierten Proteins an den Kunden.
  • Sie setzen automatisierte htp-Systeme im Labormaßstab ein (z. B. Biolector, Robolector, KingFisher, HPLC, Massenspektrometrie, Aktivitätstests), um relevante Daten zu generieren und daraus Strategien für das Upscaling abzuleiten.
  • Sie entwickeln und optimieren Fermentationsprozesse (USP) sowie Reinigungsprotokolle (DSP) im Labormaßstab.
  • Sie tragen zur kontinuierlichen Weiterentwicklung und Pflege einer modernen Technologieplattform und Laborinfrastruktur bei.
  • Sie präsentieren und diskutieren Ihre Ergebnisse im Team, in abteilungsübergreifenden Runden sowie im Austausch mit Kunden.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Sie verfügen über ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Masterstudium in Biologie, Biochemie, Mikrobiologie oder einer verwandten naturwissenschaftlichen Fachrichtung.
  • Sie bringen fundierte praktische Erfahrung in der rekombinanten Expression, Reinigung und Analyse von Proteinen mit
  • Sie beherrschen die englische Sprache sicher in Wort und Schrift und sind routiniert im Umgang mit gängigen Softwaretools zur wissenschaftlichen Datenanalyse.
  • Ihre strukturierte und teamorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie Ihr Interesse an technologischer Weiterentwicklung runden Ihr Profil ab.
