What are you going to do 

  • Planung, Umsetzung und Betreuung von Server- und Netzwerkinfrastrukturen auf Basis von VMware, Microsoft und Linux

  • Administration und Weiterentwicklung von Virtualisierungsplattformen (u. a. VMware vSphere, Hyper-V sowie Microsoft Azure und Microsoft 365-Anbindungen)

  • Implementierung leistungsfähiger Storage-Lösungen sowie Konzeption und Umsetzung von Backup-Strategien

  • Betrieb und Pflege von Netzwerkmanagementsystemen, Monitoring-Tools und Reporting-Services

  • Analyse und Behebung von Störungen im Rahmen des Incident-Managements / Störungsdienstes

  • Technischer Ansprechpartner für Serviceeinsätze im Bereich Server- und Netzwerkinfrastruktur

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Abgeschlossene Ausbildung im IT- oder Elektronikbereich, z. B. als IT-Systemelektroniker, IT-Systemtechniker, Elektroniker für Informations- und Systemtechnik, Elektroniker für Geräte und Systeme oder vergleichbare Qualifikation

  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in der Konfiguration und Administration von Server- und Netzwerkumgebungen, insbesondere im Bereich Microsoft Server, VMware vSphere und Netzwerkmanagement

  • Analytische und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise bei komplexen technischen Herausforderungen

  • Hohe Teamfähigkeit sowie die Fähigkeit, technische Inhalte verständlich und adressatengerecht zu kommunizieren

  • Gute Englischkenntnisse zur Nutzung und Interpretation technischer Dokumentationen und Systeme
