We are seeking an International Mobility Inbound Specialist to support our dynamic team in Rotterdam.

What are you going to do 

Responsibilities:

  • As an International Mobility (IM) Inbound Specialist, you will be responsible for managing international assignees, new joiners, and transfers at the local level.
  • This includes overseeing logistics, handling relocation details, and managing transactional activities throughout the relocation process.
  • You will ensure compliance with local laws regarding work permits and other legal documentation. Acting as the primary IM expert for inbound mobilisations, you will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, employees, and business units to facilitate a seamless transition.
  • Your role involves coordinating local logistics such as immigration, medical visits, government registrations, and liaising with external relocation agents.
  • You will also provide expert advice on optimising international mobility programmes and lead local onboarding meetings to prepare incoming employees for their new work environment.
  • Additionally, you will support payroll and contract administration, contribute to IM projects, and provide feedback to improve policies based on local insights.

Essential skills and knowledge

Responsibilites

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Law, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in HR or payroll administration within a global environment.
  • Experience in logistics, visa, and relocation processes is highly desirable.
  • Solid knowledge of local labour law, tax, and immigration legislation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in the local language is required.
  • Proactive and highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Adaptable to changing work environments and shifting priorities.
  • Committed to maintaining high-level confidentiality.
  • Client-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors is an advantage.
  • Functional competencies in tools and data governance, invoice management, analytics and reporting, employment law, international mobility, HR acumen, and personnel administration.
