Introduction

What are you going to do 

  • Conduct inspections and regular construction supervision for all HV/MV systems and components on the platform such das transformers, GIS, DC components, HV/MV cables etc.
  • Review and apply relevant technical documentation on site such as ITP, test protocols, design drawings, specifications, signal lists
  • Report findings, deviations and non-conformities and discuss potential solutions and mitigation options with client's engineering backoffice (in English language)
  • General documentation and reporting of the inspection work Requirements
  • Relevant degree in electrical engineering a similar education as a technician
  • Min. 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge about HV systems and components such as transformers, HV and MV GIS, HV cables, protection components
  • Ability to report and discuss findings and non-conformities with client's engineering backoffice and identify potential solutions and propose ways forward

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Professional education in a relevant engineering discipline or as technician
  • Min. 5 years of professional experience
  • Willingness to work for 12-15 months in 14/14 offshore rotations in German North Sea with accommodation on the offshore platform during the 14 days offshore rotation
  • Bring relevant equipment such as laptop, camera (smartphone sufficient), smartphone incl. SIM card and required small tools for performing the inspection works
  • Bring required PSA and trainings for working offshore and helicopter transports offshore
  • Skills in applying MS Office software
