Introduction

  • Steward the Information Management (IM) System including interface with FEED and Contractor(s) to deliver a safe and efficient handover.
  • Ensures effective implementation of the Project IM systems, procedures and data verification tools.
  • Performs data validation and reporting to monitor the data integrity and consistency of work done by FEED and Contractor(s).

What are you going to do 

  • Verifies FEED and data hosting environment and coordinates the interface to deliver multiple data link gateways and synchronization including vendor documentation and EDMS systems.
  • Also manage the change process within the IM organization, providing clear and concise records
  • The nature of the work is non-routine in that each job is different and requires independent evaluation to establish the most appropriate course of action and allocation of resources.
  • Job holder applies technical expertise, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships in support of multiple project activities.
  • Working in a small engineering team across different time zones requires the incumbent to demonstrate good organization and flexibility.
  • Major challenges include operating in a dynamic and often challenging environment and working within tight timeframes.
  • Manages the document review process, procedures and systems for PMT to ensure efficient workflow and transmittal of project deliverables and documents
  • Provides training to PMT and FEED/ contractor on EDMS to ensure document and data delivery meets requirements
  • Assists Project Management Team (PMT) in delivering LNG Project Management System expectations as required, with emphasis on information management to ensure project objectives are met by Providing IM leadership, managing and implementing the Project Information Management Plan.
  • Establishes, implements and stewards Project Information Management policies, processes, procedures, systems & controls and update as required to meet project deliverables and ensure documentation for operations conforms to company requirements
  • Establishes PMT oversight of Contractor IM processes, procedures and systems to ensure contractual compliance of FEED agreement, gap identification and resolution.
  • Conducts quality assessments and implements corrective action to rectify any anomalies
  • Support, supervise and ensure the IM & DC team(s) in PMT and FEED/ Contractor follows project related documentation processes and understands company Project Information Handover (PIH) requirements, correspondence management, document numbering and equipment numbering philosophy
  • Understands the data interface between Engineering design tools such as Smart Plant Enterprise, Tag Management System and other tools, to ensure validation and consistency verification
  • Support IM & DC team in the administration and implementation of SharePoint and EDMS.
  • Ensure periodical access review performed within timeframe and complies with company IT policies & procedures
  • Utilizes a systematic approach to problem solving, which ensures a satisfactory, well documented resolution with minimal guidance and within delegated authority limits and time constraints of Project
  • Provides expertise to PMT for the management of project information and security including protection of administration access and Company Confidential information and stewards PMT for Information Security Awareness, Training and Education (ISATE)

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or Engineering
  • 8 years Information Management experience preferably in a technical project environment within the oil and gas industry
  • Strong IT skills, knowledge in SharePoint and Database concepts
  • Knowledge in Electronic Document Management Systems
  • Experience with conducting audits & assessing process-driven quality systems
  • Experience in completing and delivering Final Completion Dossier to Operations
  • Thorough knowledge in Documentation processes, best practices, codes and standards relating to final document handover
  • Experience with Oil & Gas Companies, contractors, subcontractors, vendors or service companies involved in the oil and gas industry.
