What are you going to do 

  • Oversee ICSS installation, loop checks, FAT/SAT coordination, logic verification and HAZOP follow-up.
  • Supervise DCS/PLC/SCADA/ESD configuration, point-to-point testing, interlocks, alarms and cause‑and‑effect validation.
  • Manage vendor teams, client reps and subcontractors; approve test procedures, witness tests and sign off punch-list items.
  • Coordinate with electrical, instrument and mechanical teams for I/O marshalling, cabling, j-box checks and earthing.
  • Ensure configuration management, as‑built documentation, software backups, tag master updates and change control.
  • Apply QA/QC, HSE, Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) standards and site procedures; lead troubleshooting during commissioning and early operations.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Degree/diploma in Instrumentation, Control, Electrical or Automation; 10+ years ICSS/instrumentation experience with 5+ years offshore/FPSO commissioning or superintendent roles.
  • DCS/PLC/ESD systems knowledge (e.g., Honeywell, ABB, Emerson, Yokogawa), logic testing and loopchecking, SIS competency, vendor management, strong faultfinding, documentation and leadership. Offshore availability, valid medical, BOSIET/FOET and relevant safety certifications.
