Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are urgently recruiting for multiple site based Hydrogeologists on a casual contract working an 8:6 Roster.

What are you going to do 

  • Supervise daily drill rig activities, including production, monitoring and injection bore design
  • Oversee site-based pump testing and associated earthworks crews
  • Conduct field hydrogeology work such as groundwater sampling, water level monitoring and bore census activities
  • Undertake hydrogeological logging of drill samples
  • Perform data analysis and interpretation, including test pump analysis and hydrogeological reporting
  • Liaise closely with mine planning, dewatering and environmental teams to support operational water management

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Tertiary qualification in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in a site-based hydrogeology or dewatering role (mining experience highly regarded)
  • Demonstrated experience supervising drill rig operations
  • Proficiency with Leapfrog or ArcGIS software advantageous
  • Strong data management and interpretation skills
  • Proven commitment to safety and safe work practices
