Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are urgently recruiting for multiple site based Hydrogeologists on a casual contract working an 8:6 Roster.

What are you going to do

Supervise daily drill rig activities, including production, monitoring and injection bore design
Oversee site-based pump testing and associated earthworks crews
Conduct field hydrogeology work such as groundwater sampling, water level monitoring and bore census activities
Undertake hydrogeological logging of drill samples
Perform data analysis and interpretation, including test pump analysis and hydrogeological reporting
Liaise closely with mine planning, dewatering and environmental teams to support operational water management

Essential skills and knowledge

Tertiary qualification in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
Previous experience in a site-based hydrogeology or dewatering role (mining experience highly regarded)
Demonstrated experience supervising drill rig operations
Proficiency with Leapfrog or ArcGIS software advantageous
Strong data management and interpretation skills
Proven commitment to safety and safe work practices
